Ørsted and Skovgaard Energy have signed a declaration of intent of developing one of Denmark’s most suitably placed Power-to-X plants.

The power plant in Idomlund, in Holstebro municipality, will be built in multiple different fases. It can hereby play a central role in both the start-up of the danish Power-to-X industry, and in the establishing of exportation of large amounts of renewable hydrogen for the green transition of Europe.

The first phase of the project will have an expected electrolysis capacity of 150 MW and will be powered by onshore wind turbines and solar parks.
